Canter to the top of a rocky mesa and marvel at the breathtaking views of New Mexico’s rugged terrain.  Splash through the sandy riverbed of the Rio Grande. View the rock art remains of ancient Indian civilizations immortalized in the basalt cliffs that surround these deserted mining towns.

ARA is the only stables to offer trotting, cantering, and galloping on our trail rides. (This depends upon each rider’s skill level, of course, because we want to keep you safe.)

• We’re the only facility that offers trotting, cantering, and galloping on our rides (allowing for rider’s skill.)
• Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced rides on beautiful, well-trained horses.
• Private rides ~ for you or a special group.
• Ask about full moon rides in the summer months.
• Ride one of our exceptional horses. Or, bring your own. Yup. We want to ride with you even if you don’t need to rent a horse!
